Lymph node pathology
Pathologic study is the leading method in diagnostics of lymph node disorders, and the use of immunohistochemistry is an undisputable standard. The main task of IHC-method in diagnostics of lymph node pathology is the differential diagnostics among: benign hyperplasias of lymphoid tissue, lymphomas, and metastatic tumors of different localizations and tissue-origins which affect lymph nodes. Our center has a wide panel of monoclonal antibodies allowing us to solve that task and also to determine lymphoma’s subtype according to WHO classification (2001), which is a necessity for substantiation of specific therapy, including prescription of target drugs. |
